Dawber Photography (formerly George and Glenys Dawber Associates) are based in Stockport, Cheshire and are one of the longest established studios in the North West, specialising in wedding photography and portrait photography for over 30 years.
The original business was a husband and wife team covering wedding photography and portrait photography throughout Stockport, Cheshire and the North West, they won many prestigious awards both locally and nationally and in fact went onto win the Kodak National Wedding Photographer of the Year, they then went onto become the Portraits in uniforms National champions.
As highly regarded leaders in their field they went onto train other wedding and portrait photographers, throughout the UK and overseas, always a great sharing couple it was no surprise to family and friends when later Glenys decided to become a full-time 'Foster Carer' - together George and Glenys with the support of their three adult children have fostered over 100 children during the past 15 years.
Now their Son Howard has taken over as the main wedding and portrait photographer in their Stockport, Cheshire based Garden studio. Howard keeps up the tradition of providing a first class service, and is at the forefront of new technology being in touch with trends, styles and current fashions, he is also a competition and awards winner in his own right. George and Glenys act as consultants to the family business.
The studio provides wedding photographs Manchester in a combination of reportage and traditional images. They have a flexible approach and always work in the most unobtrusive manner creating a fantastic story of the wedding day, they are totally flexible and can offer you whatever style of coverage you prefer. All images look natural and relaxed and can be provided in colour and black and white.
